Hero MotoCorp has confirmed the launch of the Xtreme 125R and Xtreme 160R in the Nepalese market, set to begin tomorrow. Both models, positioned in highly competitive segments, were unveiled at the 2024 NADA Auto Show.
The Hero Xtreme 125R stands out with its sharp design, featuring a sleek full-LED headlamp, muscular fuel tank, sporty tank extensions, and a split seat. Powered by a 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine (11.5 bhp, 10.5 Nm) and a five-speed gearbox, it offers smooth performance.
The bike is equipped with 37mm telescopic front forks, a rear monoshock, and front disc brakes, with an optional rear disc. The bike features full LED lighting, an LCD console, single-channel ABS, and Hero’s Integrated Braking System (IBS).
The new Hero Xtreme 160R retains a design similar to its predecessor, with the addition of a new H-shaped LED tail light. It features a striking Stealth Black color option, creating a premium, dark-themed aesthetic.
The bike is powered by a 163.2cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 14.79 bhp and 14 Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox. The bike features include LED lighting, a digital display, and a drag race timer—an exclusive feature in this segment.
The Xtreme 160R sits on a steel frame, and it uses telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock for suspension. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, with braking handled by a front disc and a rear drum setup.
